How Training Works
Every student starts with a trial program, not a sales pitch. It's a two-way evaluation — we assess whether the student is ready for our program, and your family gets to see whether we're the right fit for you. Once a student is ready, they move into one of our Basic programs, where they learn martial arts fundamentals alongside a real understanding of how our program works and how to get the most out of it.
Our core art is Traditional Taekwondo, but students also learn the basics and underlying principles of Karate, Kickboxing, Kung Fu, and Hapkido.
We teach these in 8-week semesters that rotate through each art, so students build a real appreciation for how the styles differ — and how they work together. We call this approach
SkillSync.
When students reach black belt, they begin developing each of these additional arts in far greater depth.
SkillSync also means every student trains at their own pace: some need more time to build the confidence to try harder skills, while others are ready to push forward sooner.
That same philosophy shapes partner work — for beginners, students train with an experienced instructor as their partner, who guides them through everything they need to know to practice safely.
As students build confidence and self-control, we gradually increase the amount of independent partner practice and sparring.
Self-defense is taught to be useful fast, not after years of training. We focus on simple, effective concepts — angles and directions, verbal de-escalation alongside physical technique — so students can actually apply what they've learned, not just accumulate belts toward it.
Beyond the physical skills, we weave life lessons into every class. Respect, Focus, and Discipline aren't a poster on the wall — they're taught and reinforced every single time a student steps on the mat, alongside the stances, kicks, blocks, and strikes.
We're just as focused on helping students become the best version of themselves as we are on their technique.
That's what our name is built on. Level 10 comes from the idea of rating your own effort on a scale from 1 to 10 — 1 being your worst, 10 being your best.
We help students raise that standard everywhere: in their physical skills, and in how they treat classmates, instructors, parents, teachers, elders, and peers.
Our real objective is character development, using traditional martial arts as the lens. We're not a sports school chasing weekly trophies; students are exposed to competition, but in a controlled, developmental setting.
What we're actually building is confidence, respect, focus, discipline, and a genuine "can-do" attitude — trophies are a byproduct, not the point.
We're not a daycare either. We don't fill class time with games for the sake of fun, and kids aren't left to run around unsupervised. Every activity is built to teach something specific — balance, coordination, timing — even when it looks playful.
We believe real fun is training itself — and our instructors love teaching it.
